Green Twig Espresso Cup

These handmade cups made in the Fayoum Pottery tradition feature a charming outlined twig motif and green glaze. 

We like to imagine these cups serving a perfect espresso in the morning and a pour of sake or wine come evening. 

Carefully crafted from clay from Aswan, Egypt. Lead-free glaze pigmented with earthen oxides. 

Approximate dimensions: 2.75"H x 2.75" ø

Care instructions: Hand wash in warm water and dry with a towel promptly. Do not microwave or place directly on top of an open flame or in the oven. Harsh scrubbing cream or pads can scratch the surface. 

If properly cared for, Fayoum pottery may be used and enjoyed on a daily basis for many years.

Due to their handmade nature, these items may have slight irregularities, which we think add to their charm and beauty.
